Free 3D Models for Procreate

Below is a collection of free 3D models you can use in Procreate. These models are in the public domain so feel free to download them and use them in your own work.

Procreate 3D Model Import Tutorial

First, download the model you want to use on the model page using the download button. It will come with 3 formats: GLB, OBJ, and STL. You'll want to use the OBJ.

How to import into Procreate after downloading

1. Files App:
   • Tap Import in Gallery (top right).
   • Navigate to the .OBJ file in Files app.
   • Tap the file to import; it opens in 3D Painting and appears in Gallery.
2. Drag and Drop:
   • Hold the .OBJ file in Files app.
   • Drag into Procreate. For multiple files, tap to stack, then drag.
   • For an .OBJ with textures, drag the folder with .OBJ and texture maps (Color, Roughness, Metallic, Ambient Occlusion, Normal).
3. AirDrop:
   • AirDrop an .OBJ from another Apple device.
   • Accept the file on your iPad, then choose Procreate to open.
   • The file will open in 3D Painting and appear in Gallery.

Notes

• Paint one model at a time.
• Imported models auto-open in 3D Painting interface.
